MAPUNAPUNA (KHNL) - There were tense moments at a Mapunapuna business Tuesday, after workers there found a hand grenade in a car.

The Honolulu Police Department's bomb squad arrived at Aloha Auto Auction on Ahua Street at about 8 am.

Workers say they were detailing a car to get it ready for sale, when they lifted up the back seat and discovered the grenade.

Police removed the device safely and turned it over to the military for disposal.
