Wahine fall to Utah State 52-43

MANOA (KHNL) - The Rainbow Wahine basketball team remains winless in the WAC, as they lose a close back and forth game against conference opponent, Utah State, 52-43 at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Offensively, UH was led by Megan Tinnin, who finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Off the bench, Rebecca Dew scored a career high 11 points in 21 minutes. Tara Hittle led the team with 12 rebounds, as the Rainbows outrebounded the Aggies, 20-12.

But down the stretch, the Aggies hit the big buckets and made the clutch plays, as they improve to 10-10 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

The Rainbows will hit the road for two WAC games next week, beginning with Utah State on Friday, January 30th and Idaho State on Sunday, February 1st.

The Rainbow Wahine are now 3-16 overall and 0-6 in the WAC.
