Police: condition of driver in head-on collision improves

HONOLULU (KHNL) - The driver accused of causing a head-on collision on Oahu's North Shore Tuesday night is doing better. The 19-year-old woman's condition has improved from critical to serious.

Police say her car veered into on-coming traffic on Kamehameha Highway near Kamananui Road and crashed into a pick-up.

The 37-year-old woman driving the truck and her 13-year-old son went to the hospital in serious condition.
