HONOLULU (KHNL) - A former Schofield Barracks soldier, who admitted to breaking into University of Hawaii dorm rooms, faces sentencing Wednesday.

Prosecutors are seeking back-to-back prison terms totaling 40 years for Mark Heath.

He pleaded guilty to burglarizing dorm rooms at the Manoa campus and fondling a female student.

After his plea, he was ordered to provide a DNA sample.

Prosecutors say it later linked him to an unsolved rape at a Waikiki apartment.

Heath's trial in that case is set for April.
