Four boys detained for crime spree on Kauai

WAIMEA, Kauai (KHNL) - Four boys were detained this past weekend in connection with a number of crimes on Kauai's Westside.

The juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were apprehended at their homes for multiple offenses, including unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, second degree theft and burglary.

Stolen items including an undisclosed amount of cash from crimes committed over the past month at Waimea Plantation Cottages and Waimea High School were recovered at the juveniles' homes.

The young men were booked and later released to their parents.

Police are investigating the incidents.
