Pear and Cranberry Crisp

12 pears, peeled and sliced

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup granulated sugar

1T orange zest

2 cups fresh cranberries

2T flour

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss.  Butter a baking dish and add the pear and cranberry mixture.

Crisp Topping:

½ pound unsalted butter, cold and diced

1cup oatmeal

1 ½ cups of flour

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar

Combine all ingredients in the bowl of and electric mixer with the paddle and mix until combined and crumbly.  Do not over mix.  Add the crisp topping to the pear and cranberry mix.  Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until it's nice golden brown and bubbly.  Enjoy!
