Parking areas at Ala Wai Harbor closed for striping

HONOLULU (KHNL) -  Parking areas at the Ala Wai small boat harbor helipad and along Hilton Lagoon will be closed from 6 a.m. on Thursday, November 6 to 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 8 for surface cleaning and repainting of lines for the parking stalls.

Notices have been posted at these parking areas and at the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor office.

Anyone who wants to visit the shoreline at Ala Wai may still park in the designated free parking areas along the 600 and 700 rows.  

Additional parking for overflow vehicle traffic will be available elsewhere in the harbor for a fee.

No vehicles will be allowed to park overnight at the helipad, along the Hilton Lagoon or along the 600 and 700 rows.  

Cars parked in these areas will be towed away.
