Pacific Palisades brush fire comes close to homes

PACIFIC PALISADES (KHNL) - A brush fire that broke out Friday afternoon in Pacific Palisades had neighbors nervous as it came very close to homes.

It started at about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Komo Mai Drive and Auhuhu Street near the entrance of Pacific Palisades.

One neighbor said he heard an explosion.

Fire firefighters said it was probably a transformer but have not confirmed that it was the cause of the fire.

The fire was contained in relatively short time.

There were no injuries.
