Memorial service for Coast Guard HH-65 aircrew victims

HONOLULU (KHNL) - A memorial service has been planned for three U.S. Coast Guard air crewmen who lost their lives and one crew member who remains missing at sea when their HH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter crashed on September 4.

The service will be held at Air Station Barbers Point in Ewa Beach at 10:00 a.m.

A memorial flyover will take place at about 10:45 a.m.

Sheduled to attend are Coast Guard Commandant, Adm. Thad Allen, from Washington, D.C. and Vice Adm. David Pekoske, the commander of the Coast Guard's Pacific Area, heaquartered in Alameda, California.

Honolulu Police Department officers will help with traffic control and logistics.

Those planning to attend should arrive early and be seated no later than 9:45 a.m.
