A walk to remember

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Hundreds of people marched through the streets of Oahu for freedom on Thursday.

These folks were part of the second annual "Freedom Walk."

Operation Homefront of Hawaii, along with the Department of Defense, hosted the one-point-four-mile walk.

For some it was a march to celebrate America's freedom, and honor the memories of the victims of the September 11th attacks.

The walk began at the corner of Valkenburgh and Main street, in Moanalua.
