Three more stores to open at Ala Moana Center

HONOLULU (KHNL) - With more than 290 retail stores, the Ala Moana Center is adding three more but these new stores will be the first of their kind here in Hawaii.

With its store full of women's accessories, Brighton Collectibles will be the first of the three to open this year in the Center's newest wing right next to Chico's.

The national clothing retailer Express,which specializes in fashions for men and women is slated for a grand opening of its 10,477 -square foot store at the Center this winter.

Both of the new stores will be located on the third level of the new wing which opened in March, 2008.

"We are excited to continue bringing in retailers that are not only new to Ala Moana Center, but new to the Hawaii market," said regional vice president of marketing for Hawaii region of General Growth Properties, Inc., Sharon James.

And just in time for Christmas, a designer leather goods store from France, Brontibay Paris will open its doors on the mall level of the Center in December.

Some other noteworthy first ever to Hawaii stores at the Ala Moana Center are Nordstrom, Stuart Weitzman, Club Monaco and J.Crew, just to name a few.
