SAN DIEGO, California (KHNL) - Four California men, charged with the murder of professional surfer and Kauai native Emery Kauanui, have been sentenced to between 90 and 349 days in prison.

Henri Hendricks, Orlando Osuna, Eric House, and Matthew Yanke received different amounts of credit for time served and were also placed on probation.

All pleaded to lesser charges than the original murder case against them.

The fifth defendant Seth Cravens, the man prosecutors say delivered the fatal punch, has pleaded not guilty.

His trial is scheduled for October 14.
