Silent March will honor Lanai City woman

HONOLULU (KHNL) - The Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence will hold a silent march on Tuesday, September 9 at the State Capitol to honor a 31-year-old Lanai City woman.

Kim Kaniho Batoon died Sunday, August 31 in her home.  She was shot and killed by her 41-year-old estranged husband, Gerry Batoon, who also killed himself.

Kim is survived by her five children.
