City spokesperson arrested for driving under the influence

HONOLULU (KHNL) - He's been the spokesperson for the City since 2004 and now former television reporter Bill Brennan is being investigated for possible driving under the influence of alcohol.

Brennan was arrested in Kahala early Friday morning, near the corner of Hunakai and Waialae Avenue just before 3:00.

The 55-year old was taken into custody and released at 8:30 after posting $500 bail.

He's due in court on September 19.
