WAIANAE (KHNL) - A new homeless shelter opens in leeward Oahu Wednesday.
The Kahikolu Ohana O Waianae Homeless Shelter, will serve as an emergency and transitional shelter.
It will also offer low-income rentals.
A resource center will train residents in eight different trades, to help them become self-reliant.
The shelter will serve 250 people.
