'An Evening in Paradise' fundraiser returns to Mauna Lani Resort

MAUNA LANI, Big Island (KHNL) - A fundraiser for Hawaii Island United Way returns for "An Evening in Paradise."

An Evening in Paradise, now in its tenth year, is the largest single-event fundraiser for HIUW.

Funds will help to achieve its mission, which is to unite people, organizations and resources to build a healthier community.

Big Island's top chefs will join an array of the island's best vendors to offer an evening of eating, dancing and socializing.

"We are celebrating a decade of dedicated commitment to community at this year's An Evening in Paradise," said HIUW President Darla DeVille.  "Hawaii Island United Way is grateful to all the supporting chefs, vendors and Mauna Lani Resort for their continued support for the last ten years."

The event will be held at the Mauna Lani Resort on Saturday, September 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $85 for adults, $50 for children six to 11, and children five and under are free.
