HONOLULU (KHNL) - Senator Barack Obama is coming home to Hawaii.
Obama is expected to be traveling with his wife, Michelle, and their two daughters Friday. His sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, and his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, live here.
This is Senator Obama's first visit to Hawaii in the general election.
Shortly after their arrival, Obama and Michelle will make an appearance at the "Welcome to Hawaii" event at the Keehi Lagoon Beach Park.
The event is free and open to the public. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m.
Tickets are not required but an RSVP is encouraged.
