State flags to fly half-staff in honor of former state senator

HONOLULU - Governor Linda Lingle has ordered state flags at all state and county buildings to be flown at half-staff on Monday, August 4 from sunrise to sunset in honor of former State Senator and Representative Anson Chong who passed away on July 15.

Memorial services will be held on the Big Island on Saturday, August 2 and in Honolulu on Monday, August 4.
