Jellyfish invading Hawaii's beaches

WAIKIKI (KHNL) - If you plan on hitting Waikiki beach, be careful.  Jellyfish are invading the shores.

It is the peak, of the monthly box jellyfish invasion on Hawaii beaches.

Hundreds of the creatures have washed up on Waikiki Beach.

The Emergency Services Department warns swimmers, to check with lifeguards before going in the water.

They say it's better to stay on the sand than risk a sting.
