HONOLULU (KHNL) - Korean-American war veterans were honored for their sacrifice and courage Wednesday morning.
A ceremony was held at the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
Several organizations presented a wreath in memory of the tens of thousands of American soldiers who lost their lives in the war.
"All of us here are truly grateful for those who fought and for those who died in Korea to rally in defense of the principles that make so many of the nations in the world great," said Admiral Timothy Keating of the U.S. Pacific Command.
June 25 marks the 58th anniversary of the Korean War.
