HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The Na Hoku Hanohano awards is just one day away and the Brother's Cazimero are no strangers to the ceremony.

They've already won more than two dozen Hoku's, but they'll get their most important one tomorrow night.

After 33 years together, the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts will honor the duo with a lifetime achievement award.

The brother's have performed all over the world to packed audiences, and for millions on national television. They've played at carnegie hall, and put out 38 albums together. But this week is extra special for Robert and Roland.

Their fans across the world have watched them climb to the number three spot on billboard's world chart.

"I'm thrilled," said Robert Cazimero. "I think it's very cool... I never thought this would even happen in my lifetime, like the lifetime achievement award from the Hoku's." He added, "So this is really a good time in my life... believe me, 20 years ago, I thought it was a really good time in my life, but it gets better."

Being a pioneer in the hawaiian music industry, this performer, naturally loves his hawaiian music and admits he does have a few favorite new local artists. But you may be surprised who else he thinks is hot right now.

"If you really want to go for the big push, the pussy cat dolls... I think they should know me," He said. "I think we'd have ourselves a really good time."

So we may want to keep your eyes open for 'The Pussy Caz dolls.'
