Robbery Suspect Turns Himself In

HANALEI (KHNL) -- A man wanted for robbing a First Hawaiian Bank on Kauai turns himself into police.

According to police, 50-year-old Mark Chambers entered the bank at Kukui Grove Center at about 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 and demanded money from a bank teller.  He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Tuesday, Chambers walked into a police station and turned himself in.

Chambers was arrested for first degree robbery.  He is currently being held at Kauai Police Department Cellblock. 

His bail is set at $20,000.
