Grand Jury Indicts Suspects in Good Samaritan Case

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Two men charged in connection with the killing of a Good Samaritan were indicted by an Oahu grand jury Wednesday.

Nineteen-year-old Kelii Acasia is charged with murder.  Eighteen-year-old Benjamin Pada is charged with robbery and assault.

Investigators say the suspects tried to steal a woman's purse in Waikiki Sunday.  A witness, 58-year-old Ned Nakoa, rushed in to help and was assaulted.

Nakoa died from his injuries.
