Hawaiian Holdings to Begin Trading on NASDAQ Global Market

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The parent company of Hawaiian Airlines will begin trading on NASDAQ Global Market.

Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. will be listed under the symbol "HA" beginning June 2.

Hawaiian Airlines President and CEO Mark Dunkerley says the company is pleased with the move.

"We believe the move to NASDAQ will improve the visibility of our stock, enhance trading liquidity in our shares and provide the company with greater exposure to institutional investors."

The company's common stock will continue to trade on the American Stock Exchange until the market close on May 30, 2008.
