Alaska Airlines Announces New Service to Hawaii

SEATTLE, Washington (KHNL) -- Alaska Airlines announced it will begin service between Seattle and Kona and expand its seasonal service between Anchorage and Maui.

Alaska will offer year-round, once-a-day service between Seattle and Kona beginning November 17.

Seasonal flights between Anchorage and Kahului will increase from twice to three times weekly from October 31, 2008 to April 25, 2009.

To Inaugurate its new service, Alaska Airlines is offering introductory one-way fare of $229 between Seattle and Kona.

The flights will be available for purchase starting May 22.

Tickets must be purchased by June 5, 2008 and travel by February 12, 2009.
