Coast Guard Responds to Grounded Vessel

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- A stuck fishing vessel prompts the Coast Guard and the Honolulu Fire Department to come to the crew's aid.

The 47-foot vessel named Robin ran aground Thursday night at 11:00 p.m. and began taking on water.

The captain and five people aboard made it safely to shore on a life raft.

There are no reports of pollution in the waters near Kewalo Basin.
