HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Chaminade University students now have some high-tech resources right at their finger tips.

The Honolulu school dedicated its state of the art library Friday. The university says the Sullivan Family Library is the largest academic building constructed on campus since it opened in 1955.

The 30,000 square foot building cost nearly $15 million and features 34,000 electronic books and 70,000 print books.

Chaminade president Sue Wesselkamper says this is just the beginning for Chaminade.

"Classrooms have been upgraded and modernized faculty offices have been constructed and there have been a lot of changes on our campus," said Wesselkamper.

It took two years to build the library.

It's equipped with central air conditioning with adjustable temperature zones.
