HONOLULU (KHNL) -- If you're like many of us and can't seem to find time for yourself to exercise, a new workout could be the answer to the time crunch problem.
The work out is called Cross Fit, and in less than 10 minutes, you can get a complete workout.
It can be short and sweet, and if you do it right, it's guaranteed to make you sweat.
"Cross Fit is random exercise, all functional movement, done at high speed and high intensity," said Kimo Kockelman, a personal trainer.
The exercises are simple -- many times consisting of pushups, squats, sit ups and running. But the key is to keep it intense and give your best effort.
"I like it cause it's very intense, I feel like I got a very good workout in a very short period of time," said Kristin Herrick, a Cross Fit participant.
Sounds too good to be true, right? But the people who train using Cross Fit swear by the results.
"You're dying when you're doing it, but when you're done, you feel so good and that you accomplished something," said Robyn Fuqua, another Cross Fit participant.
"During the workout you don't feel very lucky, but after you feel really good," said Cross Fit participant Elyse Umeda.
"It's a lot of body over mind, you're physically exhausted, but your mind is telling you to do something, but your muscles just won't do it," said Herrick.
Not only can the workouts be personalized for each individual, it can also cater to beginners all the way to the professional athletes.
"Anybody that is bored with their normal workout where you walk into a gym and it's kind of a ho-hum work out, this is never boring," said Kockelman. "It's never easy, but it's never boring."
"If you're looking for the next thing, if you're trying to condition yourself for an event or a sport, definitely Cross Fit," said Fuqua.
Cross Fit Hawaii is located in Powerhouse Gym.
