Former AOP Athletics Director, Teacher Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- A former private school athletics director, accused of drug offenses, admitted his guilt Friday.

Brad Kitsu pleaded guilty to promoting a detrimental drug and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He faces up to six years in prison when he's sentenced June 23rd.

Kitsu was the athletics director and an English teacher at Academy of the Pacific at the time of his arrest.

Investigators say he and a co-defendant accepted a parcel containing a pound-and-a-half of marijuana at their Kukui Plaza apartment last year.
