Alaska Airlines to Begin Maui Service

SEATTLE (KHNL) -- Alaska Airlines has expanded its service to Maui.

Starting July 17, Alaska Airlines will begin year-round daily flights between Seattle and Kahului.

Seasonal flights between Anchorage and Kahului will operate twice a week from October 31, 2008 to April 25, 2009.

To inaugurate the new service, Alaska Airlines is offering introductory one-way fares of $249 for Seattle-Maui and Anchorage-Maui flights.

The flights will be available for purchase starting April 10.

Maui is the third Hawaii destination for Alaska Airlines.

Back on October 12, 2007, the airlines added flights between Honolulu and Seattle, then 16 days later, the airlines added flights between Lihue and Seattle.  Flights between Honolulu and Anchorage were added on December 9, 2007.
