ATA Airlines Announces Closure

(KHNL) -- ATA Airlines announced late Wednesday night, it's shutting down operations.

The Indianapolis-based carrier says, it cannot continue flights after losing a key contact for their military charter business.

The company says, it cannot provide refunds.

For customers holding tickets for on or after April 3, the company suggests contacting your travel agent or credit card company. ATA has also asked other airlines to honor their tickets.

ATA Airlines ceased operations as of 4:00 Thursday morning, eastern time.

ATA's Hawaii routes were to Los Angeles, Oakland, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
