New Citizen Movement to Hold Picnic for Aloha Employees

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- A new citizen organization consisting of passengers and people showing solidarity will hold a mahalo picnic for Aloha Airlines employees.

ALOHA, Advocates for Living wage Organization for Human Rights for ALOHA, was created on the final return flight from California on Monday, March 31.

ALOHA encourages those who have also had memorable moments with Aloha over the past six decades to bring potluck meals to share with the 3,500 Aloha employees.

The massive mahalo picnic will be held on Sunday, April 13 at Kapiolani Park.

Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Joshua Cooper at 542-7204 or through email on the Joshua Cooper link.
