HBL Receives $10,000 Grant for Bicycle Ed Program

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The Hawaii Bicycling League received a $10,000 grant from Hawaii Medical Services Association to support the Bike Education program.

The program provides 4th graders in Oahu's public schools with five 45-minute sessions of on-bike instruction during school hours.

HMSA's support will be used to expand healthy keiki lifestyle opportunities, establish HBL's health and wellness goals and update HBL's fleet of bicycles for students who do not own bicycles.
