HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The defense attorney in the murder trial of the man accused of killing missing Japanese visitor Masumi Watanabe will take the stand in his defense.
In two weeks, termite technician Kirk Langford is expected to tell the jury what happened to the missing woman in his own words.
This week, his attorney revealed their version of what happened the day she disappeared saying Lankford hit her with his truck then the hysterical woman jumped out and hit her head.
Thursday the defense called witnesses to include a neighbor who saw several men in a truck harrassing Watanabe.
The defense also called an HPD criminalist who was questioned about where he sprayed the blood identifying agent luminol.
