PAHOA (KHNL) -- Students at Pahoa High and Intermediate School were presented with a message Thursday, to set positive goals for themselves instead of using drugs and alcohol.
Among the guest speakers were U.S. Attorney Ed Kubo, Chef Sam Choy, and the Hawaii County Prosecutor's Office.
Kubo encouraged the students to enter a teen video contest promoting anti-drug, anti-smoking and anti-drinking messages.
"Pahoa, you guys can do it," said Kubo. "I know this school has so much talent."
The winners' video will be shown on television stations nationwide.
