Makes 6 servings, about 3 tablespoons seasoning.
- 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- ½ teaspoon salt
Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container for up to 6 months.
When ready to use as a marinade mix ½ cup of dry red wine, 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 clove of garlic finely chopped. Add meat and marinate for 30 minutes or longer.
