WAILUKU (KHNL) -- A seven-and-a-half hour standoff on Maui is over.
Kadon Zimmerman is in police custody after surrendering himself at 12:15 early Tuesday morning.
Officers say Zimmerman was holded up at the Harbor Lights Condominium complex in Kahului.
According to police, the 30-year-old man fired one shot early on then surrendered two firearms before turning himself over peacefully to police.
The standoff began at 4:45 Monday afternoon when police arrived to arrest him on a no-bail warrant for a parole violation.
Residents who were evacuated to a Red Cross Shelter, are allowed to return to the building while police continue their investigation.
Zimmerman is being held on a no-bail warrant for parole.
