Young Brothers to Apply Fuel Price Adjustment

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Honolulu's interisland cargo service Young Brothers expects to apply a Fuel Price Adjustment between 2.5% to 3% starting March 4.

The company is making the adjustment after seeing fuel costs increase nearly 22 % over six months.

President of Young Brothers Glenn Hong says they will determine the actual Fuel Price Adjustment percentage for customers once the costs and revenues for February are received.

"We are continuing to streamline our operations for efficiency, but do need to acknowledge these hefty fuel cost increases," Hong said.

Young Brothers provides service throughout the State of Hawaii.
