Superferry Resume Date Pushed Back

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The Hawaii Superferry will be out of commission longer than expected.

Superferry officals say they need to extend the time because the vessel's hull was damaged during the drydocking process.

The Alakai's originial resume date of March 3rd, is pushed back until March 24th.

Passengers holding reservations will be notified and re-accommodated on a future voyage or refunded.

Reservations for sailings commencing March 25 are being accepted.
