LEEWARD OAHU (KHNL) -- An elderly pedestrian, who was hit by a truck in Leeward Oahu Wednesday afternoon, has died from her injuries.
The Medical Examiner's office identifies her as 80-year-old Florentina Ganitano of Waianae.
The crash happened on Farrington Highway near Liliana Street at about 5:30 pm. Police say Ganitano was using a crosswalk, when a pickup plowed into her.
The 29-year-old woman driving the truck was not hurt.
Investigators say speed and alcohol were not factors.
