KILAUEA (KHNL) -- Lava flowing from Kilauea is on the move again on the Big Island.

A channelized `a`a flow advanced about half a mile into the Royal Gardens Subdivision Tuesday, mostly over older flows from the current eruption.

Hawaii County Civil Defense notified the two residents who still live in the area, which has been cut off by prior lava flows.
