HONOLULU (KHNL) -- A Coast Guard rescue crew hoisted an injured man from a cargo vessel about 12 miles south of Oahu Wednesday morning.
The 28-year-old man suffered a broken knee onboard the Norwegian-flagged vessel Taronga.
The vessel's master contacted the Coast Guard on Monday at about 4:00 p.m.
The man was flown to Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point for medical treatment and transferred to the Queen's Medical Center.
