Whole Foods Market Eliminates Plastic Bags

(KHNL) -- Whole Foods Market is coming to Hawaii with an enviromental-wise practice.

All Whole Foods Market stores will be plastic bag free.

The store announced it will end the use of plastic bags at all checkouts by Earth Day on April 22.

Instead, the store will offer "A Better Bag", a reusable bag made from 80% recycled plastic bottles.

A Whole Foods Market will open its first store in Kahala this spring.
