HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of multiple road and lane closures starting this weekend and into the following week.
Multiple lanes near the merge of the H-1, H-3 and H-201 Moanalua Freeways will be closed from 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 18 to 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning for lane striping and marker installation work.
Single lane closures on Likelike Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction on Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily from King Street to Emmeline Place for lane striping and pavement marker installations, and right lane closure near Valley View Drive for roadside tree-trimming.
Left lane closures on Pali Highway in both directions from Castle Junction to the Pali Tunnels on Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for landscaping maintenance.
Single lane closures on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction near the Lanikuhana Avenue intersection on Tuesday, January 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for pavement resurfacing, lane striping and traffic loop detector maintenance.
Right lane on the westbound H-1 Freeway Kilauea Avenue off-ramp (Exit 27) will be closed Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily for bridge inspections.
Single lane closures on Fort Weaver Road in both directions from Laulaunui Street to Old Fort Weaver Road on Tuesday, January 22 through Friday, January 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily for construction of roadside drainage systems. The right shoulder lanes in both directions will also be closed at these locations 24-hours-a-day behind concrete barriers to isolate work areas for traffic.
Motorists are advise to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
