KALIHI (KHNL) -- A beloved Kalihi grandmother, who just turned 79, has been missing for nearly a week. Now, family members are making a tearful plea for your help in finding her.

Honorio Manzano breaks down in tears, wondering where his wife of 57 years disappeared to.

"We don't even know what's happened to her already," Erlinda Manzano Ramirez, missing woman's daughter, said through tears. "It's hard for the family."

Anicia Manzano celebrated her 79th birthday on New Year's Day. Two days later, the mother of four and grandmother of eight vanished.

"We miss so much our mom," Ramirez said.

She says her mother has Alzheimer's, and has difficulty communicating.

"If you talk to her, she just bow her head and smile, just keep bowing her head," she said.

Her family checked hospitals, churches, shops and even homeless shelters.

"We don't even know where we can find her 'cause we searched all over already," Ramirez said.

Manzano is about 5'2" tall and weighs about 90 lbs. Family members say she was wearing a light green sweater with the word GECKO across the front.

They say the house isn't the same without her.

"She just lay down on her bed or watching TV. But now, she's not," Ramirez said through tears. "We never see mama anymore, yeah."

She's a petite woman with a large family that misses her.

If you have information about Manzano's whereabouts, call Honolulu police.
