HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Superferry passengers will have more flexibility to travel between Maui and Oahu.
The Hawaii Superferry is adding a second voyage between the two islands starting January 16.
Superferry CEO John Garibaldi says the second voyage will "benefit customers who want the convenience of having an afternoon voyage."
The second voyage will run Sunday through Friday, leaving Honolulu at 3:15 PM and arriving in Kahului at 7:00 PM; departing Kahului at 8:00 PM and arriving in Honolulu at 11:00 PM.
Promotional $39 one-way fares are extended through June 5. Tickets must be purchased by March 31.
