HPD Asking for Help with Locating Bank Robber

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- Honolulu police are asking for your help in identifying and locating a man wanted for robbing the McCully-Young branch of American Savings Bank on January 2.

Police say a man entered the bank on McCully Street at about 10:25 AM, passed a note to the teller, and demanded money. He was last seen heading westbound on Young Street.

The suspect is described as African-American between 40 to 50 years old.  He's 5'9 and weighs 160 pounds.  He was wearing a blue T-shirt with light colored trim on the collar and sleeve and brown pants.  He has a mustache and a goatee.

Police say they are investigating whether this suspect is involved in other robberies.
