KALIHI (KHNL)--Family members carried around a lot of anger over the teen's murder.

He was stabbed just moments after Christmas ended.

"Shortly after midnight there was an argument fronting Sonny's market here on North School Street and during the argument a suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper torso," said HPD's Lt. Bill Kato.

The Office of the Medical Examiner identifies the victim as 18-year-old Fugitogamala Savea. He died from a stab wound to his heart.

Sunny's Mart is located at the entrance to Kuhio Park Terrace. That's where the Savea family live and celebrated Christmas earlier in the day. His younger brother speaks out.

"He was a nice brother. He take care of our family, he take care of our dog, he cleaned the house everyday ever since he passed away my feelings for him like he not around. "

Police are still searching for a motive in this murder.

"The victim and a couple of his friends were standing out in front of the supermarket when the suspect and a second male approached and apparently there was some words spoken between the two and at that point the victim was stabbed," Lt. Kato explained.

Family members say they held Savea in their arms as they waited for the ambulance. He died at the hospital.
