Actor Cary Tagawa to Accept Responsibility for Domestic Abuse

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The attorney for Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa says the actor will not fight the domestic abuse charge against him.

An Oahu judge on Monday set a February 12th court hearing for Tagawa. The 57-year-old is expected to change his plea from not guilty to either guilty or no contest.

Police say they responded to an argument near Diamond Head last month, and found the actor's girlfriend with visible injuries.

"(Tagawa) deeply regrets this incident and takes full responsibility for his actions," David Hayakawa, defense attorney, told KHNL News 8.
