DOH to Conduct TB Testing at Roosevelt High School

HONOLULU (KHNL) -- The Hawaii State Department of Health will test about 160 students and staff at Roosevelt High School for tuberculosis due to a possible exposure to a student with active TB.

Last month, the DOH confirmed active TB in a Roosevelt student who is currently receiving treatment and is not attending school.

The DOH will test students and teachers who had a close and prolonged contact with the ill student on December 10.

School administration is notifying parents and guardians with a letter this week.
